As part of your application process you are required to provided a reference. This is especially important if you do not have a previous BA degree or Higher Education qualification. The reference is used by Plymouth Marjon University to assess your suitability to carry out an MA level course.
Your referee must be someone who knows you and your work, such as:
A university or college lecturer/teacher
An employer
A client or colleague you have worked or collaborated with (who knows you well)
Please note: we cannot accept references from a partner or immediate family member.
Your referee must provide all of the following information in a word or PDF document.
Their name
Their position
Their address
How they know you
How long they have known you
Why they think you are a suitable candidate for the MA in Creative Practice
You will upload this document as instructed on our email communication once you are offered a place on the course. You do not require a reference until after the interview stage.
