Yes! Many students have used this programme to finish a book, self publish, or even get a publishing deal. The accountability of the programme will make sure you actually finish writing, you will be encouraged to share early and evolve what you have, rather than trying to write the ‘perfect’ book.
The second part of the programme is all about engagement, so you will be encouraged to share what you have with the audience you are trying to impact. A few examples of past students who have written books include…
Autumn - Autumn finally finished her cookbook whilst on the programme. She had a book launch event, self published and stocked bookshops in the UK and Sweden with her finished book.
Swan - Swan used the programme to self-publish her poetry book. She successfully began selling on Amazon, stocked bookshops in Sweden and started running workshops and courses relevant to the themes of her book.
Sean - Sean established himself as an emerging voice in the UK tattoo scene, using publishing, writing and community education to position tattooing as a serious and accessible art form. By the end of the programme he secured a publishing deal to write a book on the history of Tattoo Art for a major publisher.
