Mentor Programme

Alongside your discovery and experimentation in the main programme, you'll work one-to-one with a Core Mentor: someone who knows your world and has been there before.

What to Expect

  • Eight 45-minute sessions across the year (mentor appointments can run beyond your academic year with us - up to 3 months).

  • Practical, grounded conversations focused on real decisions, real constraints, and real momentum

  • Industry perspective, pattern recognition, and lived experience

  • Support turning possibility into action with confidence

Who Your Mentor Will Be

  • A working professional from your field: filmmaker, artist, designer, facilitator, writer, entrepreneur, etc.

  • Close enough to the work to be useful, far enough ahead to see clearly

How It Works

  • Hannah leads the mentor programme and supports you in identifying and approaching the right people

  • You make the reach-outs yourself: building confidence, agency, and professional courage

  • Once a mentor is confirmed, Hannah handles all administration and payments

  • You arrange sessions directly with your mentor at times that suit you both

  • Most meetings happen online, though in-person is welcome where possible

Additional Opportunities

  • Meet a wide range of practitioners through Action Labs: small, focused group sessions centred on specific skills and real practice

  • These are often fertile ground for mentor connections

Before You Start

  • If you're already in conversation with potential mentors, don't formalise anything yet

  • You'll be given clear next steps at the programme launch

This isn't about being told what to do. It's about informed action: supported by someone who understands the terrain, while you do the walking.
