Do I have to be academic?

For those that are worried they are not academic enough to do an MA course

Not at all. You have to be creative, curious, and willing to take action. That’s it.

This isn’t a traditional academic course where you sit quietly and write essays about what other people think. It’s a course built for people who learn by doing. You’ll be experimenting, making, testing, reflecting, and sharing your work with others.

Of course, you’ll develop critical thinking and reflective writing skills along the way, but they’re always connected to your real creative projects. You’ll write about what you are discovering, not what you memorised from a book.

If you’ve ever felt out of place in formal education, you’ll probably feel at home here. We focus on creative intelligence, not academic conformity. You bring your ideas and drive, we’ll help you shape them into something real.
